This is a green snake. Ever wonder why you do not see many in the wild? This snake is probably one of the most common snakes in Arkansas, but they blend into their surroundings so well we never see them. This photograph was taken and is owned by Frank Clouser who lives on the shore of Beaver Lake in Benton County Arkansas.
