Sistrurus miliarius streckeri--Pigmy Rattlesnake--found in Barry County Missouri. This snake was almost 24" long which is usually the maximum length for this species. Note how small the rattle is. Even with a full grown adult Pigmy Rattlesnake it is very hard to hear the rattle.
